If you love banana bread and you love Nutella, this is the recipe for you.
Ingredients:
3 extra-ripe bananas (the more brown they are the better)
3/4 cup vanilla greek yogurt
6 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
2 eggs (room temperature)
2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2-3/4 cup crushed walnuts (optional)
Nutella
Other supplies:
Mini-Loaf Pan or 1 large loaf pan
Step 1: Preheat oven to 325°F.
Step 2: Smash bananas using a fork. Stir in melted butter, vanilla yogurt, and eggs.
Step 3: Combine flour, sugar, salt and baking soda in a separate bowl.
Step 4: Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Add walnuts and continue to fold until all ingredients are combined.
Step 5: If using mini-pans: Add batter to greased or lined loaf pans. Fill it until it is about 3/4 full. Then add about a teaspoon of warmed nutella and swirl around using a butter knife or kabob skewer. Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes. Bread is ready when you can stick a butter knife or skewer into the loaf and it comes out clean. If using a large loaf pan: Add half of the batter to lined or greased pan. Then add a tablespoon full of Nutella. Swirl around using the same technique mentioned above. Add second half of batter and add desired amount of Nutella on top and swirl around. Bake for about 1 hour or until a knife or skewer comes out clean.
Step 6: Remove from oven and allow to cool before enjoying.
